eTIPS
Did you
know the sequential workflow of
Veriphy?
The radiologist will
create a voice message for the ordering clinician
using Veriphy Desktop, an integration with
PowerScribe, RadWhere, or AGFA, or by using
Veriphy Phone. The radiologist will provide
information, including at a minimum Ordering
Clinician, Patient Name, Finding Level, and their
interpretation. Once the Veriphy message is
created, notifications are immediately sent to the
Ordering Clinician via pager, cell phone, fax and
e-mail. Upon receipt, the Ordering Clinician dials
a toll-free number and enters a six-digit access
code to listen to the message. The
message closes when the Ordering Clinician listens
to the entire message. Escalation notifications
are automatically sent to the Ordering Clinicians
when a message has not been picked up within a
defined timeframe. If messages are not retrieved
within certain timeframes, Veriphy Support and
facility coordinators will assist in assuring the
Veriphy message is delivered to the appropriate
caregiver.

Did you know when listening to a
Veriphy message, the report will be closed out
only after the beep is played?
When listening to a Veriphy message, the
report will be closed out when the Ordering
Clinician hears a 'Beep'. If the Ordering
Clinician does not listen to the full recorded
message through the 'Beep', the message remains
open and will continue to
escalate.
___________________________________
Did you
know Ordering Clinicians can choose how they
want to be notified?
The Ordering Clinician can choose from these
four methods of notification:
- Text message to a cell phone
- Email
- Alpha or numeric pager
- Fax
___________________________________
Did you
know calling the toll-free number is not the
only way to access and close a Critical
Result message?
The Ordering Clinician can access and close
the Critical Result message by calling the 800
number provided in the Pager, Text, or Fax
notification. If an email notification is
being utilized, a secure link can be utilized to
listen to the message online if the computer has
speakers.

Did you know the Veriphy support
team processes requests to add/update
Ordering Clinicians and
Radiologists information into the Veriphy
database daily?
The Ordering Clinicians
and Radiologists can be added to the Veriphy
Database in accordance with your defined Data
Maintenance policy. The Veriphy Support team
processes these requests on a daily basis and your
assigned Account Manager can also assist with
providing appropriate ID cards or Veriphy IDs for
Radiologists and Ordering Clinicians as
needed. Please reach out to your Account
Manager, if you have any
questions. |
Meet
- Blake Marable
Blake Marable is one of the Account Managers
for the Veriphy application. The Account
Manager is responsible for being the point of
contact to address questions as well as help guide
the clients to optimal use of the Veriphy
application and functionality available to
them. Blake is a highly knowledgeable member
of the Account Management team and can provide a
vast array of knowledge on how many of our clients

the hospitals. Blake truly puts the customer
first and is highly recognized as being able to

What is your role at
Nuance?
I am an Account Manager and have been working
with the Veriphy CTRM product for 4 years this
October. In addition to my Veriphy clients,
I have recently been working with PowerScribe 5.0
accounts as a part of the expansion of Account
Management to other Healthcare products. My role
as an Account Manager is to take a proactive
approach with our customers to ensure they are
maximizing the use of our products, complying with
regulatory and facility guidelines, and then
leveraging that success into further use of our
products in other diagnostic areas.
What are your hobbies outside of
Nuance?
I enjoy the outdoors, playing guitar, sports
and spending time with my wife and
daughter.
