In this edition of eTIPS, you will find tips about our new direct toll free number for Veriphy support, how Veriphy has improved functionality to capture the name of recipient for each critical value message, and how Veriphy reports can be created and provided to you on a scheduled basis.
  
Important Reminder: The October 12, 2009 deadline for registering to attend Conversations 2009 is quickly approaching.

Did you know that we added a new direct toll free number for Veriphy Support?
 
The new direct Veriphy Support number is 866-256-3178 and is staffed 24-hours a day, 7-days a week to provide assistance on Veriphy message retrieval operations and profile updates. Your call will be directly answered by the next available Veriphy Support Specialist without the need of selecting a menu option to reach support. The existing Veriphy Support number of 866-325-1096, option 2, will remain active for incoming calls and these will be automatically routed to the new Veriphy Support queue without interruption.

Did you know Veriphy has improved functionality to capture the name of the Recipient for each Critical Value message?
 
Veriphy has functionality referred to as Name Capture. The Name Capture functionality allows the facility as a whole, to require the recipient of a Veriphy message to record her/his name. The recorded recipient name becomes a permanent record and is attached to each message for tracking and auditing in the future. The advantage of the Name Capture functionality is the opportunity to have the recipient of each message become a part of a permanent record within Veriphy.  In many situations, this can assist Ordering Clinicians to discuss with On Call / Covering colleagues to ensure the patient's care was promptly addressed.  If you are interested in enabling this functionality or have specific questions, please contact your Account Manager.

Did you know Veriphy reports can be created and provided to you on a scheduled basis by your Account Manager?
 
The reporting functionality is a key element in your successful use of Veriphy.  Currently, Monthly Summary reports can be generated for you by your Account Manager as well as additional reports you may need. The reports available through the Veriphy Account Managers are quite extensive and we are continually building additional reports as needed. Please work with your Account Manager for any of your reporting needs or questions you may have about reporting capabilities.

The release of Veriphy 4.0 is scheduled for October 23, 2009. A Release Announcement was emailed on September 18, 2009 with information on the following topics. If you did not receive the release announcement, please contact your Account Manager immediately for a copy of the information and to be included on the upcoming notifications.

Meet Luis Hernandez
 
Luis Hernandez
Luis Hernandez is the Data Management Specialist for Veriphy CTRM and has been with Nuance for 3 years. The Data Management Specialist is responsible for distributing all outgoing and incoming data profiles, which are used to collect user and telecommunication device information from our customers. These are then added to the Veriphy notification database. Luis is also responsible for any customer service data related issues that require data entry of new administrators and radiologists, as well as new facilities setups with the requested device notifications. Luis interacts with the Support and Account Management departments within Veriphy and with our Customers directly to provide the highest level of customer service.
  
Outside of Nuance, Luis's favorite hobbies include many outdoor sports; flag football, indoor and outdoor soccer. Luis had his first born daughter Isabellah Hernandez on August 4, 2009. Since her birth, most of his free time is spent with his daughter, fiancée, and their families. They enjoy taking trips and are looking forward to taking Isabellah to Pennsylvania this winter to visit family members.
