In this edition of eTIPS, you will learn about changes made to the Message Center Filters, how to track facility defined critical tests, and how Veriphy accepts predefined reasons for forwarded messages.

Did you know the Message Center Filters have been updated in Veriphy 4.0?
   
At the top right side of the Message Center some of the filters have been changed to make the available views more specific when reviewing the messages.  The following filters are now available and should you have any questions, please refer to the What's New documentation provided, or ask your Account Manager for information:
  • Open
  • Open - End Escalation
  • Open - Past Compliance
  • Open - Declined
  • Open - Embargoed
  • Closed

Did you know Veriphy 4.0 now has the ability to track facility defined Critical Tests?

The Veriphy product now has the ability for Radiology departments to define a specific exam type to be tracked as a Critical Test despite the outcome of the study.  The Veriphy system would utilize the Veriphy Gateway Server functionality to analyze Order information to 'flag' an exam based on up to 5 parameters defined by the facility as a Critical Test.  Once one of the Critical Tests is identified Veriphy begins to track the full timeframe from Order being placed to the way the result is communicated and full turn-around-time for the communication to occur.  If you are interested in learning more about the technical requirements and Critical Test functionality, please let your Account Manager know and they can assist with initiating the appropriate conversations with additional Nuance departments.

Did you know Veriphy can now accept predefined reasons for Forwarded Messages?
   
Veriphy now contains a list of pre-populated reasons a message may require forwarding to a different recipient.  The default reasons can be modified and/or extended to include your own custom reasons.  The default explanations are in a drop down list labeled 'Reason' when Forwarding a message.  This reason can be used in addition to a manually typed message detailing the reason for Forward.  If you want to customize the Forward reasons, please work with your Account Manager for details on how to edit.  The defaults include: 
  • Forward to OC 
  • Wrong OC
  • Other

Meet Fede Arredondo
 
Fede Arredondo
Fede Arredondo is one of the Customer Support Specialists on the Veriphy Customer Support team and has been working with the Veriphy CTRM system for 2 years.  The Customer Support Specialist is responsible for monitoring incoming messages from the Veriphy CTRM system and performing direct facility and physician notifications at the message Backup notification stage as outlined in each facility's support policy.  Fede is a dedicated member of the Customer Support team and works closely with administrators, coordinators, physicians, and their staff in providing them with the highest level of customer service.

In his free time, Fede mostly enjoys being a loving husband and is having a lot of fun being a father. When time permits, Fede enjoys music, art, and reading.
