Did you know you can use the
physician in the CC field as a
Backup?
The CC as Backup option provides the
Reporting Clinician the option to check the "Use
CC as Backup" box when creating a message on
Veriphy Desktop.
This allows the recipient in the "CC:" field
to only be notified if the primary recipient in
the "To:" field does not respond to the
notifications prior to the message reaching the
Backup escalation. When either the Primary or the
Backup message is closed, the status of both
messages is then changed to closed.
If the box remains unchecked, the recipient
in the "CC:" field will receive a message
simultaneous to the recipient in the "To:" field.
In this case, these messages are treated as
independent messages and each physician must both
retrieve the message.
Using "CC as
Backup" can be particularly useful in situations
where there is a designated chain of command, such
as in teaching hospitals. If you're
interested in learning more about this
functionality, please contact your Account Manager
and they will happily help set up this
workflow with you.

Did you know you can generate
compliance reports for a specific Reporting
Clinician, Ordering Clinician, or Clinical
Team?
The Compliance and Statistical Report,
available under the Reports tab of the Veriphy Web
Tool allows you to generate reports based on
various fields, such as Reporting Clinician,
Ordering Clinician, or Clinical Team. You
can also run a summary report capturing all
Veriphy messages created.
By selecting one of the Report Types, you
then have the option to specify whether you want
to run the report for all physicians or one in
particular.
