Greetings!
Nuance is
pleased to present you with this edition
of eTIPS
where you will learn how to personalize your
Veriphy Login ID and Password, how to search for a
specific message using the Search tab,
and watch an eTIPS video about using the
Veriphy Message Center.
Important Maintenance
Notification: Nuance will be
performing preventative
maintenance on Sunday, June 6,
2010 from 10 PM until 11 PM EDT for the
Veriphy CTRM system. During this time, the Veriphy
system will be taken offline and will NOT
be available to send or retrieve critical
test results. The Veriphy CTRM system
including the VUI, Desktop and Partner Integration
will not be available during this 1-hour period.
This preventative maintenance is to accommodate
the continued growth in the Veriphy CTRM platform
while ensuring optimal performance and
reliability. Please note: that
this is NOT a software release and no changes or
application upgrades will be required on your
behalf.
Please note: Beginning in
June 2010, the Veriphy eTIPS newsletter will be
sent on a quarterly basis as opposed to the
current Monthly distribution. The next
Veriphy eTIPS newsletter will be sent at the
beginning of September 2010.

eTIPS
Did you know you can personalize your
Veriphy login ID and
password?
Instead of trying to remember the 800 number
listed as your Login ID, you can personalize your
ID and/or password to something you can easily
remember. This can be changed as many times
as you like.
Perform the following steps to change
your Login ID and Password:
- Log into the Veriphy Web
Tool at https://veriphy.vocada.com/.
- Click the Tools tab.
- In the drop down list choose Group
Maintenance.
Note:
This will take you to a screen that lists your
group information followed by the list of all
subscribers. The first group listed is
Group Administrators followed by
Specialists.
- Click your Name to go
to your profile.
- Your Login ID can be
changed using any characters, but can only be up
to 10 characters long.
- Your PIN may be changed to
only numeric digits but can be up to 10 digits
long.
- Click Update Profile to
save the changes made.

Did you know you can search for a
specific message using the Search
Tab?
The Search tab allows you to
search for messages for a particular Ordering
Clinician, Reporting Clinician, Finding, MRN, DOB
or other search criteria.
The following table describes fields and
buttons on the Message Search
screen:
Perform the following steps to search for a
specific message:
- Login to the Veriphy Web Tool
at https://veriphy.vocada.com/.
- Click the Search tab.
- Enter any known details of the message you
are looking for.
- Click Go.
Note: Any messages
matching your search criteria are listed in the
bottom portion of the screen.
- To view an individual message, click the
Details icon.

Meet Rebecca
Thimm
Rebecca (Becky) has worked
on the Veriphy Customer Support team for
approximately 3 years. With each critical
test result notification call to a doctor, nurse
or facility, Becky handles each
with professionalism and care, as if the
patient involved was a family member.
Becky enjoys spending time with
her three daughters, their husbands and her
four grandchildren. She is in charge of the
Crime Watch organization where she lives and works
hand in hand with the Sheriff and Safety
Department to keep their community
safe. Becky is very proud to announce that
she just returned from Houston where her eldest
daughter graduated Summa Cum Laude with a GPA of
3.978 for a teaching degree specializing in
social studies.
