Did you know you can change the
view in Veriphy Web (webtool) to improve
performance?
Veriphy Web has two view
options; View Text or
View Graphics. These
options are listed in the center of the top pane
of your screen. The View Graphics selection
is the default. Below is an example of the
default View Graphics:
Clicking the View Text
link will remove all graphics and logos from
the window. Below is an example of View
Text:
Changing the selection from View Graphics
to View Text may improve workstation performance
when Veriphy is downloading large amounts of
data from the server. This is helpful when
extracting files, reports, or when using the
search tab to view closed messages.
Please NOTE: This change is
only temporary; once you log out, the view will
revert back to the default View
Graphics.
Did
you know version 4.2 of the Veriphy Desktop
application allows the Nuance PowerMic
microphone to be shared with other partner
applications?
Customers who are using Nuance's
PowerMic to record into the Veriphy Desktop and
other applications should consider upgrading to
Veriphy version 4.2
Did
you know Dragon® NaturallySpeaking® users
can navigate to and populate fields in the
Veriphy Desktop application?
Veriphy Desktop now works with Nuance's
Dragon NaturallySpeaking (DNS) voice recognition
program. This integration allows Veriphy Desktop
users who have DNS to navigate to and populate the
fields in a Veriphy Desktop message.
When using DNS with Veriphy Desktop,
consider following these guidelines:
- When recording a message in Veriphy, you
must use the DNS command "Stop
Listening" before dictating the
message. Otherwise, DNS continues recognizing
your speech and attempts to convert it to text
or commands, instead of allowing the audio to go
into the Veriphy Desktop message.
- You cannot use DNS to select the ordering
clinician (OC) name from the Auto Search control
in Veriphy Desktop.
- You may need to train words in order to
reliably select facilities or findings
levels.
Did
you know you can edit your facility's clinical
teams using the Clinical Team Setup tab in Veriphy
Web Tools? Click the image
below to see a demonstration that will provide you
with step-by-step instructions on how to add or
change the clinical team's devices, add or remove
Ordering Clinicians from the clinical team, or
edit the clinical team's notification
priority. For more assistance, please call
your Account Manager who will be happy to provide
additional details to assist you.
