Did you know as healthcare organizations rollout and implement clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) it is critical to support the capture of both structured and unstructured information?
Today, structured information is captured through templates and checkboxes within the EHR, whereas unstructured information (unique, detailed patient notes) oftentimes require clinicians to type copious amounts of information. At Nuance Healthcare we are giving clinicians back their voice - allowing them to capture both structured information and the unique patient story, the narrative, in the easiest way possible - just by speaking.
Click the play button on the following video image for a brief demonstration about Nuance Healthcare's cutting-edge Clinical Language Understanding (CLU) technology, "Your Voice - Now Understood."

Did you know you can assign multiple PowerScribe 360 | Reporting & PowerScribe version 5 Facility ID codes to one facility?
PowerScribe 360 | Reporting (formerly known as PowerScribe 360) & PowerScribe version 5 would also need to associate these codes to the correct facility so the proper PowerScribe 360 | Critical Results message can be created for that facility.
PowerScribe 360 | Critical Results can map the facility code that PowerScribe 360 | Reporting & PowerScribe v5 passes to a PowerScribe 360 | Critical Results (PS360|CR) facility by mapping it to lookup the multiple facility ID’s.
For example:
If you have a PS360|CR Institution called “FAC1” with a facility ID mapping table of 1, 2, 3, 4…. PowerScribe 360 | Reporting would then pass PS360|CR an FACID of 1, 2, 3, 4, and PS360|CR would create a message for “FAC1”.
In order to do the mapping described above, PowerScribe 360 | Reporting & PowerScribe v5 would need to be configured in such a way that it is passing (1) of the (4) IDs with every message. This functionality is dependent on how PowerScribe 360 | Reporting & PowerScribe v5 is configured from an interface and facility perspective.

Did you know when using PS360|CR integrated with PowerScribe 360 | Reporting, you cannot edit the ordering clinician's name from the reporting stamp?
A PS360|CR integrated PowerScribe 360 | Reporting facility would like the reporting stamp communicated via PS360|CR to not include the ordering clinician name. This information can be inaccurate for clinical teams since the ordering physician will never be the person retrieving the test result.
Solution:
Currently the reporting stamp text can be changed but the ordering clinician name cannot be changed or removed.
