Working with reports
Filtering and sorting
The filtering and sorting options vary depending on the report you are working with (for example, filtering by time period is available in all reports; filtering by group, site or specialty is only available in some).
To filter the information by time period, do the following:
- Open the report you want to work with.
- In the View by list, select Month or Week.
- Select the time period you want to see data for.
Note: The time period filter is applied to all graphics in a report.
To filter the information by group, site or specialty, do the following:
- Open a report with group, site or specialty filters.
- In the View by Site, View by Group or View by Specialty list, select the corresponding item.
Note: These filters can be applied to all graphics in a report or to one graphic, depending on the report you are working with.
To sort the information in a graphic, do the following:
- Open the graphic you want to work with and hover over it.
- Click
in the upper-right corner of the graphic; the available sorting criteria are displayed.
- Select a criterion to sort by.
Tips
- Click a column header to sort a table.
Displaying a graphic in focus mode
To display a graphic in focus mode (expand the content to see more detail), do the following:
- Open the graphic you want to work with.
- Hover over the graphic and click
in the upper-right corner of the graphic.
Using spotlight
To highlight a graphic, do the following:
- Open the graphic you want to work with.
- Hover over the graphic, click
in the upper-right corner of the graphic and select Spotlight; the graphic is highlighted and the other graphics in the tab are transparent.
Showing the data that was used to create a graphic
To show the data that was used to create a graphic, do the following:
- Open the graphic you want to work with.
- Right-click it and select Show data; the data is displayed below the graphic.
Note: Click Back to Report in the upper-left corner of the graphic to return to the report.
Exporting data from a graphic
To export data from a graphic, do the following
- Hover over the graphic whose data you want to export and click
in the upper-right corner of the graphic.
- Select Export data; the corresponding dialog box opens.
- Select the file format and click Export.
