Worklists require time to build and test, but helpful functions such as cloning and exporting ease the task.
Cloning: If you are building multiple worklists with similar queries, it is helpful to use the clone feature. Cloning worklists saves time in creating new worklists. To create a new worklist similar to an existing one, use the Clone button on the System tab to copy the worklist, and then edit the copy.
Exporting: Any worklist can be exported to XML for distribution and saving. This feature allows you to export any worklist with which you require additional help. Also, it can be useful to export worklists before deleting them from the system.
Deleting: Deleting unused components helps to maintain a streamlined system. It is recommended that you export and save copies of worklists you intend to delete, but might want to re-implement later.
To clone a worklist:
1. Click Clone next to the worklist you want to copy. A new row is added, with the same properties as the original worklist.
2. Type the name and description of the new worklist.
3. Click the Save (disk) icon to save the new worklist. You can now edit the new worklist to modify any of its properties.
