Adding Custom Peer Review Fields and Editing the Default Rating Descriptions

NOTE: Peer Review  is a purchasable feature. Contact your Nuance sales representative for more information.

When prompted to perform a peer review, the reviewer sees a dialog box similar to the one shown below. The box contains the ACR’s four rating codes and a description of each. It can also contain up to two custom fields.

About the Custom Fields

To help better define the reason for selecting a particular rating, you can create up to two custom secondary fields to provide additional input for peer reviews. You can associate a secondary field with one of the primary ratings (in which case the secondary field appears directly below its assigned primary rating) or the secondary field can pertain to all of the primary ratings (in which case the secondary field appear below the list of primary ratings).

These secondary fields can take the form of free text, a drop-down menu from which you can make a selection, or if only one choice is provided, a check box which you can select or clear.

To add and edit custom fields:

1.  On the System tab, click Review Ratings. The Peer Review Ratings dialog box opens.

2.  Click the Add icon to begin adding a new custom field.

3.  Enter a name for the field; description is optional.
