  Thank you for purchasing Dragon Medical One and PowerMic Mobile. Enclosed is everything you need to get started.  
     
     
  Dragon Medical One: Getting Started  
  Nuance provides two methods for software distribution. Your organization can use either method or both, depending on your environment and usage policies.  
  Dragon Medical One requires a small client footprint and should be co-installed in the same environment as the applications your users dictate into.  
     
  Dragon Medical One Installer  
 
  • Enables users to download and install Dragon Medical One directly onto their local PCs.
 
 
  • Does not require administrator privileges.
 
 
  • Automatically prompts users to upgrade when a new version is available.
 
  Get started: Distribute the following link to your Dragon Medical One users. Users (1) click the link to the Dragon Medical One Resource Center, (2) click the "Download Dragon Medical One Installer" button to download, (3) run the Installer.  
  Dragon Medical One Resource Center (with organization token)  
  Note: This process uses the Windows clipboard. When you click the download button, your organization token will be copied to the clipboard, overwriting the current clipboard contents.

  Standalone distribution  
 
  • Required for remote access and/or virtual desktop solutions such as Citrix or Microsoft RDS.
 
 
  • Allows administrators to control versioning and upgrades on an organizational level.
 
  Get started: The following link takes you to the Dragon Medical One Resource Center. You'll find the Dragon Medical One deployment packages, documentation, and virtualization add-on installers (required when using Dragon Medical One in a remote access/virtual desktop environment).

  PowerMic Mobile: Getting Started  
  If you did not buy PowerMic Mobile licenses, you can skip this section. Learn more about PowerMic Mobile here.  
  Nuance provides two methods for software distribution. Your organization can use either method or both, depending on your environment and usage policies.  
     
  Using mobile device management (MDM)  
   
 
  • PowerMic Mobile will be installed on managed devices, starting on the date you specify.
 
 
  • When your users launch PowerMic Mobile, it will already be configured with the profile defined in your MDM configuration file.

  • Users can also install and configure PowerMic Mobile manually.

  Get started: Distribute the link above to your PowerMic Mobile users. You can send this link in an email, post it on your intranet, or repurpose the content on your own support page. Be aware that users must open this page from their mobile devices.  
     
  App pairing  
  Users must log in with the same user name for both PowerMic Mobile and the target desktop application (for example, Dragon Medical One) in order to pair the two applications.  
  If automatic pairing does not work, users can pair manually. For more information, see the PowerMic Mobile administrator resources or the PowerMic Mobile User Guide.  
  To start using PowerMic Mobile, users enter their user name and tap Log In.  
     
  NMC login credentials  
  The Nuance Management Center (NMC) is a web-based administration tool that enables you to monitor and manage all aspects of your Dragon Medical One and PowerMic Mobile licenses, including users, license assignments, auto-texts, custom vocabularies and speech usage.  
  To access NMC, use the URL and user name listed below. Port 443 must be open for outbound communication and you must use a supported web browser: Internet Explorer, Chrome or Safari.  
  To set the password for this user name, click the Forgot password link on the NMC login page. A password reset link will be sent to the same email address this welcome kit was sent to.  
  When you first log in you will be prompted to verify your email address. Please enter your email address to finish setting up your NMC account.

  Internet access requirements  
  Dragon Medical One requires internet access. In order to install and properly operate this solution, you must be able to access the following internet domains and ports:

  Users should be able to receive occasional administrative emails from donotreply@nuancehealthcare.com, sendgrid.net and *.sendgrid.net addresses. Examples would include password reset emails, NHID registrations, and NMC administrator verification emails. Do not filter or block emails from this domain.  
     
  Dragon Medical One Analytics  
  Dragon Medical One Analytics is a self-service, web-based reporting portal available within NMC. Dragon Medical One Analytics reports provide information on user productivity, user efficiency, user dictation practices, individual user details, and productivity forecasts. Once users are set up by your site's admin/Nuance technical team, and actively using Dragon Medical One, they can use their NMC credentials to access this portal at https://nmc-hc-prod-us.nuancehdp.com.  
     
  License grant and management  
  Your organization has purchased 5 user licenses for Dragon Medical One and 5 user licenses for PowerMic Mobile. To view or manage your license assignment, log in to NMC.  
  Note: The following user accounts are generated automatically in NMC: dmic_user and PMMReceiver01. Do not delete or disable these accounts; they are required by PowerMic Mobile. These accounts do not need any licenses assigned to them.
