Microsoft Word has a large amount of
autocorrect entries built into the program by default. It primarily deals with

you can add your own in within that program. This article will discuss the
steps to import autocorrect that is in Microsoft Word to InScribe AutoText.
Note: If you currently have AutoText
entries setup in the InScribe program, please back them up before proceeding as
a precaution. There are knowledge base articles setup to assist you backing

on the window that appears.
8. Change the file type to "plain
text" using the drop down menu shown below and save it in your "My
Documents" folder.

dialogue will appear letting you know that the import is complete. Click
"OK". If any of your Word AutoCorrect entries contain tables, you may
receive a script error. You will need to go into MS Word AutoCorrect and remove

14. Note the files that were skipped. Most
entries are skipped because the abbreviated form has a space character in the
middle of it. This is incompatible with InScribe autotext.
15. You can now close the Emdat AutoCorrect
utility.
16. Make sure to follow the lettered
procedures in step 6 to reverse the changes you made to your macro security
levels.
By using this process, the autocorrect that

ready to be used immediately once you start up InScribe the next time.
