Did you know that RadWhere HL7 Bridge service has support for your Inbound ADT messages (patient demographics)?

ADT messages within the HL7 standard are typically initiated by the Hospital Information Systems (HIS), or a registration application, to inform ancillary systems that a patient has been admitted, discharged, transferred, merged, that other demographic data about the patient has changed (name, insurance, next of kin, etc.) or that some visit information has changed (patient location, attending doctor, etc.).

The following ADT event types are recognized by the RadWhere HL7 Bridge. All others will be rejected:

Did you know that RadCube™ for Radiology is a Web-based business intelligence tool for advanced clinical data mining, analysis, and classification to drive trend identification and forecasting for better radiology and business decisions?

RadCube for Radiology is an automated solution that works seamlessly within the radiology operations environment to collect and structure data from  computerized physician order entry (CPOE), radiology decision support (RadPort™ for Radiology), speech reporting (PowerScribe® for Radiology and RadWhere™ for Radiology), and critical test result management (Veriphy) applications.

Did you know that in RadWhere Administrator Portal you can change The Procedure code name and description?

The following example describes how you can change the procedure code name and description for an "UPPER G.I. Series & Small Bowel Follow Through" procedure.
  1. Log into the RadWhere Admin Portal.
  2. Select Setup > Site.

    RadWhere Procedures

  3. Mouse over the Procedures drop down.
  4. Click Procedures > Edit to open a popup page allowing creating, deleting and editing site procedures.
Note: Typically, the procedures are imported en masse and not edited individually, so this page is primarily intended for setting the Mammography flag on a small number of selected procedures.

    RadWhere Procedure Search

  5. Type search criteria in the Look for box and click Search to populate the grid with results that contain that string in their Code or Description.
Note: Check the Mammography box to limit the results to only the procedures with that flag set.

  6. At this point, you can click the Pencil/Paper and make changes to the Name/Description on the procedure code.
  7. Once the changes are complete, click the Disk icon to save them.
