Did
you know that the Order Data Panel can be
Hidden to Enlarge the Dictation
Window?
By
default, the Order Data tab is shown in
RadWhere. RadWhere provides the flexibility
to show as much, or none, of the Order Data as
desired.
Click
the play button on the following eTIPS Video to
see a demonstration on how to Show and Hide Panels
in RadWhere
To
auto-hide the Order Data panel, click the Auto
Hide pushpin in the top right corner of the
Order Data panel. The panel will
reduce to a tab.
To
show the Order Data panel when hidden,
click the Order Data tab. To keep
it open, press the pushpin.
Alternatively,
you can resize the Order Data panel
by grabbing the edge of the panel with the
mouse, then drag the gray line to the desired
size.
Did
you know about showing the Prior Reports/AutoText
pane in RadWhere?
Prior Reports and AutoText share a pane in
the lower portion of the RadWhere window. Some
providers, based on preference, may want to show
the Prior Reports pane or AutoText pane at all
times.
To show a hidden lower
pane, click one of the tabs at the bottom of the
RadWhere dictation window. To keep
the lower pane showing, click the pushpin in the
top right corner of the pane. To toggle
between Prior Reports and
AutoText, click the tabs at the
bottom left of the screen. To auto-hide
the lower pane, click the Auto Hide
pushpin in the top right corner of the lower pane.
The pane will reduce to two
tabs.
Did
you know about Philips SpeechMike
Firmware updates?
SpeechMikes with firmware versions below
V1.25 have a known issue which results in
recording audio at a different sampling rate in
the middle of the dictation.
When this problem occurs the speech accuracy
will be significantly impacted. If you are using
Philips SpeechMikes with firmware version less
than V1.25 we highly recommend that you upgrade
the firmware to V1.25 or
higher
Use
the Philips knowledge-base link below to review
the firmware version release notes to determine if
an update is appropriate. SpeechMike firmware
version 1.25 is highly recommended, as it prevents
the sampling rate deviating from
22,000Hz.
- Unzip
the contents of this zip file to the system you
intend to do the upgrade on.
- Run
the FirmwareUpgradeWizard.exe
- When
prompted that new hardware is installed, point
back to the SpeechMike_FW_Upgrade_V1.25 folder.
- Follow
the prompts and do not disconnect the microphone
while the program is updating the
firmware.
IMPORTANT:
The
machine cannot have had a PowerMic installed on
it. Nuance
recommends using one clean workstation to upgrade
firmware on all SpeechMikes. Installing the
firmware using a machine that has hosted a
PowerMic will leave the SpeechMike in an unusable
state.
Confirm
the SpeechMike is connected and recognized by the
Philips Device Control Center application before
attempting any firmware update. Then close the
Device Control Center and apply the firmware
update.
