Synchronizing the Physicians Database with PowerScribe 360 | Critical Results

Overview

The Synchronize Physicians feature allows an administrator to retrieve provider information from the PowerScribe 360 | Critical Results system and insert it into the Provider data table in PowerScribe 360 | Reporting.

NOTE: This is a ONE WAY update from PowerScribe 360 | Critical Results to PowerScribe 360 | Reporting.

The synchronization looks at the provider’s hospital ID, matches it to the provider's last name, and then retrieves the following information from PowerScribe 360 | Critical Results and inserts it into PowerScribe 360 | Reporting:

If a field is blank or NULL in PowerScribe 360 | Critical Results , it will not update the field in PowerScribe 360 | Reporting. So a null value in PowerScribe 360 | Critical Results will NOT blank out the data field in PowerScribe 360 | Reporting.

An individual synchronization occurs when the dictator selects a provider for a critical results message, and the provider's critical results Provider ID in PowerScribe 360 | Reporting is null. In this case PowerScribe 360 | Reporting pulls the user's information into the PowerScribe 360 | Reporting Provider data table and allows the dictator to send them a critical results message.
