Dragon Medical Network Edition version 2.7.5

Release overview

Dragon Medical Network Edition version 2.7.5 is a service release that includes support for:

• TX25 with UIAutomation for Allscripts customers who dictate into AwareNotes.
• Cerner Millennium 2018 with TX25.NET edit controls.

DMNE 2.7.5 software is available on iSupport as a full installation, or service pack installer.

The release includes updates to both the DMNE client and the minitracker.

Important information

The DMNE 2.7.5 release is recommended for the following solutions:

Allscripts:

• SCM 16.3 CU14
• SCM 17.3 CU4
• SCM 18.4 initial GA release

Cerner:

• Millennium 2018.
• Earlier versions of Cerner Millennium are also supported for this release.

NOTE: Customers using other EMRs are not advised to upgrade to DMNE 2.7.5, since it does not include any changes to improve DMNE for their applications.

  Provides support for formatted free text fields with an AwareNote.

Support for Allscripts AwareNotes structured notes

• Supported editions are listed in the Important Information section.
  Note: You must update both the Dragon client and minitracker for full support to work correctly in AwareNotes fields.

Support for Cerner Millennium 2018

• Supports TX25.NET controls. Backwards compatibility is maintained for earlier versions of Cerner Millennium.

Virtualized environments

• New support for:
  • Citrix XenApp version 7.17
  • Citrix Xen Desktop version 7.17

Citrix Receiver support

• New support for Citrix Receiver 4.11

Nuance Management Server

• Support for Nuance Management Server versions 5.8.3, 5.9 and 5.10.

Changes to the Vocabulary Editor user interface

• References in the Dragon client user interface to "Delete" have been changed to "Disable." There is no change to the behavior; the naming now accurately describes the way the feature works.

Customers can access Dragon Medical Network Edition 2.7.5 by contacting Nuance Technical Support. Both the full build and service pack are available on iSupport for US English and UK English editions. DMNE service pack 2.7.5 can be installed over any existing installation of DMNE 2.x..

This release contains updates for both the Dragon Medical Network Edition client, and also the minitracker (for Citrix support). Nuance recommends to update both the DMNE client and minitracker to achieve full support for Allscripts AwareNotes, and Cerner Millennium.
