Did you know how to manage dictated reports that are saved and locked by editors?

As the PowerScribe system administrator, it’s important that you watch for reports sent to editors and take actions to make sure reports keep moving through the workflow. You should periodically check for reports that are saved and locked by editors so any issues may be addressed and resolved. A locked report may be the result of:

  • The editor closed the report for later completion.
  • The provider may have sent the report back to the editor for further work.
  • The editor is currently editing the report.

Press the play button on the following eTIPS video to see a demonstration on how to identify an editor's locked reports and how to manage them.
