Did you know what Medication Updates are available for Dragon Medical 360 | Network Edition?

Please subscribe to this iSupport solution #14281: Dragon Medical NuanceLink Medical Updates through the iSupport. When viewing the solution, click the Add to Quick Links button in the solution's upper-right corner to receive automatic notification when new medical updates are available via the Dragon Medical NuanceLink Pipeline server.

These updates apply to the Dragon Medical 360 | Network Edition product. Medical updates are cumulative meaning that applying the latest update provides all previous changes and updates.

PLEASE NOTE: Updates are driven largely by the US Food & Drug Administration’s quarterly update of approved medications:

     http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cder/ob/default.cfm
     (“Cumulative Update” to the “Orange Book”)

Medical Updates

Recent medical updates have been made available for Dragon Medical 360 | Network Edition (DM360|NE) customers. The customer's Nuance Management Server (NMS) will automatically "pull" (download) these updates as they become available. The most recent (cumulative) update will be at the top of the table in iSupport Solution #14281.

Once these updates are downloaded, each update will need customer approval through the Nuance Management Console (NMC) Messages page before the update is made available through the Profile Optimizer Server for distribution to the DM360|NE end-users. Once approved, the task status can be checked through the NMC Utilities under the Profile Optimizer Task List.

By default, the NMS Server will download updates at 3:00 AM. This means that even though the update is available now, the NMS system will not download it until tomorrow morning. However, customers can manually force the NMS to check for updates by using the Check for Updates link in the lower right-hand corner of the NMC Approvals page.

By default, update packages are stored on the NMS at:

C:\NMC_DOWNLOADS (older DM360|NE v1.0)
C:\ProgramData\NMS\FileStore\DownloadedPackages (DMNE v1.0 and 2.x)

All previous Medication Updates messages and files will be removed from the NMS system when the current package is successfully downloaded.

Did you know there is a Community Forum and Social Media Resources that are available to our Dragon Medical Customers?

The following resources are available to Dragon Medical Customers who are interested in sharing and obtaining product information.

Listserv Community Forum

The Dragon Medical Listserv mailing list is an electronic community that allows Dragon Medical Customers to send email messages or announcements to every person in the list at once. The purpose of this mailing list is to provide a forum for our Customer members in which to have open discussion and share information regarding the operation and workflow of their Dragon Medical system. We are pleased to provide this service so that our Customers can create a network of colleagues - available anytime, anywhere. We have learned that our customers are happy to answer questions posed, as evidenced by multiple customer responses.

Dragon Medical Customers can enroll in the Dragon Medical Listserv either during their initial welcome interview with our Customer Relations staff, or by emailing us at Customer.Loyalty@nuance.com and requesting to be enrolled.

The text below is sent to Customers who have expressed a desire to enroll at the time of their welcome interview:

“You are now enrolled in the Dragon Medical Listserv in regular mode “real time”.

There are two (2) options for receiving Listserv posts via email:

  • Regular Mode - which is “real time”, meaning when anyone from the group posts, you will receive the posts immediately.
  • Digest Mode - which is one email at end of the business day with all topics posted that day for you to pick and choose which topics are relevant to read.

At any point, if customers would like to change to Digest Mode, please contact us at Customer.Loyalty@nuance.com.

Customers can also:

  • Sign up to search the Listserv archives to review prior posts
  • Temporarily suspend receipt of Listserv emails while out of the office for a prolonged period
  • Unsubscribe
  • Review our Listserv usage tips

Once enrolled in the Dragon Medical Listserv, the Customer will automatically receive an instructional letter generated directly from Listserv.

Nuance Depot Repair Service

Click here for a Web Form to submit a Depot Repair Service Request for Connexions Station (C-phone), Optic Mic, PowerMic, Philips Speech Mic, tape-based recording devices, digital recorders, etc. iSupport members can save time by simply logging in to iSupport and submitting a service request choosing "Depot" as the Request Type.

NOTE: There is no need to submit a Depot Repair Service Request on a PowerMic under a current Nuance Maintenance Contract. Call Nuance's Customer Account Management team at 800-339-7683 to get the broken PowerMic replaced. At the prompt simply say, "PowerMic Replacement."
