Nuance Management Center 6.1 Patch 2 includes system optimizations to improve resiliency and the following changes:
Nuance Management Center 6.1 Patch 2 also includes the following changes from 6.0:
When you perform a search for user accounts, there is now a new Primary email address column in the search results.
For more information on searching for user accounts, see the "Viewing user accounts" topic in the NMC Help.
There is now a section available in the Nuance Management Center Server Installation and Configuration Guide on configuring Nuance Management Center and its environment securely.
For more information, see the "Preparing for your installation" chapter in the Nuance Management Center Server Installation and Configuration Guide.
There is a new screen in the Nuance Management Center installation wizard where you can enable or disable automatic SQL Server database backups during the installation. If you disable this option, you must manage your database backups outside of Nuance Management Center.
You must be a system administrator to enable this option.
For more information, see the "Installing the servers" chapter in the Nuance Management Center Server Installation and Configuration Guide.
Nuance Management Center now provides support for the following non-US locales:
Dragon Medical One Analytics collects data related to the Dragon Medical One speech recognition and transcription services usage from various sources (for example, Nuance Management Center or Nuance-hosted reporting systems), analyzes the data, and produces meaningful and accessible reports. You can view and interact with these reports in the NMC console.
For more information, see the Dragon Medical One Analytics User Guide.
Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs) reflect the specific diagnoses associated with patient conditions that you are required to document each calendar year for patients enrolled in Medicare Advantage (MA) or Medicare Shared Savings Plan (MSSP). In the NMC console, you can filter the HCC opportunities presented to physicians within your organization to ensure physicians see only the HCC opportunities that are relevant to their practice and patient population. You can filter opportunities by HCC family for an entire organization, facilities within an organization, facility-defined physician groups, or individual physicians to prevent display of unnecessary information to physicians.
For more information, see the "Managing Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) filters" topic in the NMC Help.
There are three new privileges for the new analytics reports:
For more information, see Appendix C, "Privileges reference" in the Nuance Management Center Administrator Guide.
Nuance Management Center now supports SQL Server 2017.
For more information, see the system requirements in the Nuance Management Center Server Installation and Configuration Guide.
To update user account information for multiple users at once, you can create an XML or CSV import file with the updated information. When you import the file, you select the specific user account attributes to update with the new information. This allows you to update user accounts in bulk.
For more information, see the Modifying multiple users at once through user import section in the "Working with user accounts" topic in the NMC Help.
If you enable the new Users must change their password after first login Organization setting, Nuance Management Center prompts new users to change their password the first time they log in to the NMC console. This setting does not affect existing users.
For more information, see the Organization details—Products tab section in the "Organization Details page" topic in the NMC Help.
It is no longer possible to include leading or trailing spaces in any of the following when you create or import user accounts:
You can now include the following fields in XML import files for user account creation:
For more information, see Appendix A, "Creating XML files for user account import" in the Nuance Management Center Administrator Guide.
There is a new Product Manage Clinical Documentation Excellence privilege. When enabled, NMC administrators can then assign newly available CDE license types.
