Nuance Healthcare
Nuance Management Center 5.10 is a full release that includes:
Managing Advice filters
Requiring full organization address information
Requiring administrators to verify their email address
Advice filters are areas where Dragon Medical Advisor can prompt providers for additional specificity while dictating clinical documentation.
You choose an advice and specifier combination (for example, Diabetes Mellitus and Type) for which Dragon Medical Advisor prompts providers when their dictation is missing additional specificity (such as Type I or Type II).
You can optionally choose to make the advice filter Mandatory, which requires the provider to resolve the advice by dictating more details.
You can configure Advice Filters under Speech Recognition>Manage Advice Filters.
For more information, see “About advice filters” and “Managing advice filters” in the NMC Help.
When you create a new organization, the Street 1, City, State, and Zip fields are now required.
You can now configure the Swiss German language in Speech Objects and Topic Context Mapping Screens.
The language is available in all language drop-down fields and keyword settings in the NMC console.
A license and privilege is available for customers that use the mPower product and mPower Clinical Analytics.
In the NMC console, an administrator with the mPower product manage privilege can view the mPower license in the License Type fields and issue an mPower Clinical Analytics license when creating a new user account.
Note: An administrator cannot configure Auto-provisioning settings for mPower.
You can require that all NMS users in an organization have a valid primary email address.
You enable this feature by selecting 'Email address required for organization users' under Organization Details>Products>General.
For more information, see 'Require a valid primary email address for organization users' in the NMC Help.
All NMS administrators must verify their primary email address.
The NMC forces administrators to verify their primary email address once; the next time they log in to the NMC.
For more information, see 'Require administrators to verify their email address' in the NMC Help.
You can set the expiry time/date for the email verification link the NMC sends to NMS administrators.
You enable this feature by setting 'Verification Link Expires After_hours' under System Setting>Nuance Management Center.
You can change the email verification template.
For more information, see 'Require administrators to verify their email address' in the NMC Help.
