When you import a file, the file can now only contain one dot (.) extension in the file name (for example, import_file.xml
). If your import file name contains more than one dot extension (for example, import_file.2021.xml
) the file type is considered invalid, and the file import fails. To import the example file import_file.2021.xml
successfully, you could rename the file and replace the extra dot (import_file.2021.xml
) with an underscore (import_file_2021.xml
).
This file name constraint applies to all file import functionality throughout Nuance Management Center.
