Nuance Management Center 2021.2 includes miscellaneous bug fixes and security fixes to improve system resiliency and the following changes:

Screen reader compatibility issues now resolved to improve web accessibility
Improved security requirements for administrators on the NMC login and email confirmation pages
Improved wording for clarity on the User Account Details page
Local Authenticator Guide now includes best practices

Screen reader compatibility issues now resolved

Screen reader compatibility issues and feature deficiencies have now been resolved to improve web accessibility.

For information on the keyboard shortcuts you can use with screen readers, see the "Navigating the interface with a screen reader" topic in the NMC Help or the Nuance Management Center Administrator Guide.

Improved security requirements for administrators on the NMC login and email confirmation pages

Security requirements for administrators have been improved on the NMC login and email confirmation pages.

Improved wording for clarity on the User Account Details page

The following clarifications have been made on the User Account Details page:
- The User must change password on next login check box has been changed to indicate it is specific to users with native NMS authentication only. The new field name is User must change password for native NMS authentication on next login.
- When a user is locked out, the text that appears on the User Account Details page has been changed to indicate the lockout applies only to users with native NMS authentication. It does not apply to users with using other authentication types. The new string is User was locked out of native NMS authentication on:....

Local Authenticator Guide updated with best practices

The Local Authenticator Guide now includes some recommended best practices. The updated guide is included in the Local Authenticator download package available on the Utilities>Tools ribbon.
