The following table describes the function of the items in the Explorer window's Tools menu.
NOTE: In nearly all cases, the tool bar has an identical function if you prefer to use it. |
NOTE: A hidden (grayed out) item indicates that the feature is not available for the current report or user. |

Opens the Select Attending dialog box |
Change Password |
Opens the Change Password dialog box |
Compare Revisions |
Opens the Compare Report Revisions dialog box |
Start AutoFeed |
Starts the AutoFeed feature, based on your search in Explorer, and opens the Report Editor window with the first report in the list selected |
Barcode Filter |
Toggles on and off the Barcode Filter. With this filter on, only a specific range of characters (set by your administrator) is selected when you scan a barcode. With the filter off, the entire barcode is entered. For example, you might use this filter when scanning accession number or patient MRN barcodes. Remember to scan while your cursor is in the Quick Search field. |
Wet Read |
Toggles on and off the ability to save a report as a wet read (pre-draft) report. When enabled
(wet reads allowed), the icon in the toolbar is highlighted. When disabled
(wet reads not allowed), the icon in the toolbar is not highlighted.
